Welcome to the Vaccine Procurement Practitioners Network (VPPN) web site!
The VPPN is an invitation-only community of practice supported by a web site designed to promote knowledge sharing and leverage country-level learning based on information and experience shared by its members. Membership is restricted to the members of the VPPN, and is comprised of invited country members, staff of UNICEF SD and immunization partners of UNICEF.
The VPPN web site is operated by the United Nations Children’s Fund (Supply Division - Oceanvej 10-12, 2150 Nordhavn, Denmark).
You agree to use the VPPN web site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of this site by any other member.
In using the site, you agree not to do any of the following: (a) defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal, or human rights of others (such as rights of privacy and publicity); (b) publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information; (c) upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programmes that may damage the operation of another's computer; (d) delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels in any file that is uploaded; (e) falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded; or (f) advertise or offer to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters. UNICEF reserves the absolute right to delete any material posted to the VPPN web site without notice to the user.
UNICEF accepts no responsibility or liability in respect of the conduct of any user in connection with such facilities, or for any material submitted by users and carried on the VPPN Web Site including, responsibility or liability for the accuracy or reliability of any information, data, opinions, advice or statements made in such material.
Individual access rights
Users are provided with personalized access to content as well as specific features, based on their profile.
Links to external resources
The VPPN web site may be linked to other web sites that are not under UNICEF's control. UNICEF provides these links merely as a convenience and the inclusion of such links does not imply an endorsement or approval by UNICEF of any web site, product or service. UNICEF does not assume any responsibility or liability in respect of such web sites, including, for example, responsibility or liability for the accuracy or reliability of any information, data, opinions, advice or statements made on those web sites.
While the VPPN management team makes efforts to test the site and its content, we encourage you to run an anti-virus program on your device, especially when downloading materials or opening email communications.
Intellectual property rights
The VPPN web site and its original content, features, design, layout, look, appearance and graphics are owned by or licensed to UNICEF, and are protected by international, copyright, trademark and other property or proprietary rights law. Nothing in the Terms grants you a right or license to use any trademark, design right or copy right owned or controlled by UNICEF or any other third party except as provided for below
You may print off copies, and may download extracts, or any page(s) from the VPPN web site for your personal use and that of your country team members that have participated in the Vaccine Procurement Practitioners Exchange Forum (VPPEF), and where applicable you may draw the attention of others within your Institution to content posted on the VPPN web site.
You may not transfer the materials to another person outside of your institution or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
You must not use any part of the content on the VPPN web site for Online Product for commercial purposes without obtaining a license to do so from us.
Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
The UNICEF name and emblem, and the VPPN name and emblem are the exclusive property of UNICEF. They are protected under international law. Unauthorized use is prohibited. They may not be copied or reproduced in any way without the prior written permission of UNICEF.
UNICEF reserves the right to seek all remedies available under law for any violation of these Terms, including any violation of UNICEF's rights in the UNICEF name and emblem and its rights in connection with the information, artwork, text, video, audio, or pictures (together, the "Content") of the UNICEF Web Site.
Nothing in or related to these Terms will be treated as a waiver of the privileges and immunities of the United Nations and its subsidiary organs, including UNICEF.
